The award-winning Fondue Fest returns to downtown Fond du Lac on Saturday, September 10, 2011. The festival, celebrating its 5th year, will bring back much-loved favorites and more for a full day of great family fun, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This week’s “Fondue Fest Feature” is the South Stage line-up. Get ready to boot, scoot and boogie as Diamond and Steel kick off the day from 9:30 a.m. to noon with all your country favorites. Keeping the festival energized, Frost Fire will perform from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. playing favorites from all genres. Rocking out the day’s festivities, The Presidents will deliver an eclectic mix of rock songs ranging from classic to contemporary from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. It will be a fun-filled day for music enthusiasts!
As usual, fondue will be available in the center of the festival (Forest Ave.). The wonderful chefs from Moraine Park Technical College’s culinary arts program will do the cooking honors, creating both cheese and chocolate fondue.
Main Street will be lined with over 90 merchant booths, Farmers Market, arts and crafts vendors and lots of great food and drink will be available for purchase.
